Chad is a partner with Thompson Addison, pllc, emphasizing Family Law, including; Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Modification, Contempt and Appeals, handling cases in Chancery Courts throughout Mississippi and supervises the firm’s expanding Adoption practice.
Chad serves as a Parent Defense Training and Technical Assistance Resource Counsel for the Mississippi Office of State Public Defender providing training and technical assistance to trial-level parent defenders in Youth Courts and handles indigent appeals from Youth Courts. Since 2017, Chad has also served as a Parent Defense Attorney for Hinds County Youth Court.
Chad earned his Doctrine of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law in 2015, where he served as President of the Family Law Society and a Student Attorney in the Adoption Clinic. He also served as an Adjunct Professor in Paralegal Studies at Hinds Community College.
