Robert S. Addison

With over 45 years of trial experience in complex litigation, Robert offers a deep reservoir of knowledge in his service to our clients and our firm, not to mention a hefty assortment of professional awards and recognitions.

While he’d rather be astride one of his cutting horses than gussied up in a suit to accept another award, his trophy shelf includes: Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers (Top 50 in Mississippi), AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, and America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, among many others.

Robert is known as one of the last “pure litigators” and tried to verdict hundreds of cases throughout state and federal courts in the Southeast. Robert is also a nationally recognized speaker on the science of litigation.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, playing the violin, raising cutting horses, and teaching as a certified firearms instructor.

He and his wife, Cindy, make their home in a mighty nice barn in Canton, Mississippi where he can occasionally be overheard saying, “To make a small fortune in the horse business you must start with a large one.”
